Puppy chasing problem should be fixed

Every dog owner has had problems with his dog at one stage or the other. Only after training it and keeping it obedient would you have been successful in ensuring that your dog remained with you for so many years. Otherwise, you would have let it go a long time ago. One of the earliest problems you would have faced is chasing puppy all kinds of things, starting from other animals to huge trucks.

If such an instinct in your dog is not curbed in the early stages itself, then it could turn out to be a major problem. You would need to train the dog so that it would stop chasing after everything. There are professional trainers that can ensure that your puppy stops chasing things and remain obedient. They would try and determine why exactly your puppy runs after things and accordingly design the training methods that would be needed.

Another way to stop you chasing puppy is to find out if is doing so because it is entertaining. If that is the case, then you should a way to distract you dog’s attention, by using its favourite toy or by another method that you think might work.

Schutzhund trained dogs are safer to keep

Most people would lie to have a pet at their houses. And one of the most popular pets is the dog. You would want to have a dog as your pet it is very loyal and it would also be able to protect your house from any intruders. But before all that happens, you would need to first train your dog so that it would get some discipline. Only schutzhund trained dogs are able to ensure that do what their owner asks them to do.
One of the most important aspects a dog’s characteristics’ is that it would be very aggressive and attack anyone and everyone that visits your house. You would want to ensure that this particular behaviour of your dog is removed and hence you would want to train the dog. You would have to discipline it so that it can make a distinction between different people.

But in the case of schutzhund trained dogs, there would be no such problems. They would know what is exactly expected of them and would be able to curb all the aggressive behaviour and characteristics that are inherent in it. Only then can you have the pet safely at your home.

Inheritable Health related poodle problems

The poodle is very intelligent, good natured, sturdy dog with long life span. The poodles come in 3 different sizes. They are toy, miniature and standard. Like all purebred dogs, they also have inheritable health related poodle problems. Toy and miniature poodles share same health disorders while there is some variation in standard poodle problems

First let us see the toy and miniature inheritable health related poodle problems. The corneal dystrophy is a disease of cornea that is bilateral, inflammatory and is inherited. Next is progressive retinal atrophy, this is an eye disorder in which the light cells of retina die or wither due to insufficient blood supply. This disease gradually results in blindness which has no cure. This poodle problem is seen in the age between 5-6 years. Next is Cushing disease which occurs from the overproduction of cortisone by the adrenal glands. Next is hypothyroidism which results from inadequate production of thyroid hormone. Its symptoms include brittle coat that falls out, coarse, thickening of skin and so.

Now let us see the standard inheritable health related poodle problems. The entropian is an eye condition in which the eyelid grows inward, causing eyelashes to come into contact with eye itself. Similarly they suffer from liver shunts, sebaceous adenitis, hereditary eye disease, elbow dysplasia and so.

All you need to know about bullmastiff training

Training dogs seems interesting but it is a different ball game all together. You need to follow different methods to train each breed. The method adopted to train a German Shepard can not be the same used to train a Pomeranian. Each one has to be treated in its own way to get the pet to listen to us. This does not mean we let the dog do all it wants at home. Certain rules which you want the dog to follow have to be made clear to it.

In bullmastiff training the key point is to be patient. These dogs are not as intelligent as the other dogs and therefore will take time to follow your initial instructions. You will probably need to repeat those commands over a period of time before the dog gets to follow it. But once trained the bullmastiffs are sure to please you with their manner. One thing you need to understand in bullmastiff training is that they are not too much into tricks so it is better not to push them too hard.

Refrain from treating the bullmastiff as a guard dog as once it experiences threats it can turn violent.
